The province and Phuket Island in Thailand is five hundred thousand square kilometers, where people are mainly engaged in three activities: cotton production, nature conservation and tourism. This area is known for its mild and humid tropical climate, its friendliness and friendliness to all visitors, and most importantly – the best beaches. The most popular among tourists is Patong Beach in Phuket. It is adjoined by Bangla Road, where every corner has a store, bar or other entertainment venue.
General introduction
Bangla Road (English Bangla Road) is one of Patong’s main streets and is its calling card and soul, especially colorful at night. At six in the evening, car traffic on this street is blocked. Until morning, Bangla Road, along with nearby lanes, belongs exclusively to tourists, vendors and entertainers of all ages, nationalities and types, as well as Phuket’s prostitutes and Thai trans people.
Bangla Road somewhat resembles the Beach Road and Wolkin Street in Pattaya, which stretch along Pattaya Beach.

Right side street
The right side of Bangla Road in Phuket is reserved for a variety of restaurants, sports bars, cafes and clubs. Here you can sample more or less exotic cuisine, with plenty of fresh local seafood, relax with family or friends, or watch the match broadcast on a large screen, with beers, in the company of the same fans.
Bars with live music are a separate category of local entertainment. Bands from the Philippines are frequent guests there. The songs played in these clubs are easily recognized – these are the world’s hits, among which you can hear as incendiary melodies of disco and Victor Tsoi. The bars on Bangla Road are open till late night or till dawn.
Left side street
The left side of Bangla Road is an area of strip clubs and “adult” entertainment. The attractive girls of Thailand are eager to lure guests from the street, and the bar staff try to please visitors in any way possible. Here you can see dancers at the poles mounted directly on the bars, and visit establishments with original decorations and girls dressed in fantasy costumes.
Unclothed performances are banned in Thailand, but Bangla Road often ignores this rule, somehow you have to attract men who have flown to Thailand for sex tourism. Most of the establishments are free to enter, but the purchase of alcoholic beverages is a prerequisite for the visit, and their cost varies by times.
There’s no hiding from trannies here
For comparison, in some music bars Thai beer costs about 80 baht (just under $3), and in the go-go bars the prices for drinks start from 300 baht. The Russians on Bangla Road are especially good at standing out from the crowd of tourists because of their special behavior. How do the Russian tourists in Thailand, we went through.

Entertainment and debauchery on Bangla Road are not hidden behind walls and closed doors – you can find something interesting to do even just walking down the sidewalk. Performers and mimes entertain the public in the open air, and photographers, despite police opposition, offer a memorable shot with exotic animals, particularly local reptiles.
Trade on Bangla Road
Trade on Bangla Road is as much of a hubbub as it is a sex trade. And it’s not just stores, malls and makashnitsa. In addition to traditional souvenirs and crafts made of shells, bone, wood and stone, you can buy almost anything from food and drink to clothes and weapons from the street vendors here.
Business (business ideas in Thailand) on Bangla Road is established so well that some sellers walk not with the goods in the cart, but with a catalog under their arm – and the range of these catalogs impresses even seasoned travelers. The goods you like are brought from the warehouse, and there is haggling between the vendor and the buyer. It is an essential part of open-air bargaining and sometimes allows you to knock down the price several times over.
It goes without saying that buying some expensive items on Bangla Road is not recommended. First of all, there is a great risk of getting your hands on counterfeit goods. Secondly, without showing a receipt expensive or made of rare materials souvenirs can be confiscated at Thailand’s customs.
It’s also not a good idea to purchase anything from children – or at least give alms to underage beggars. Such actions by tourists attract the attention of the Phuket police and reinforce the system of exploitation of child labor, which is one of Thailand’s most serious problems.
In addition, it’s not advisable to buy anything from children – or at least give them beggars.
