Between relaxing on the beach, visiting floating markets and sightseeing local attractions it is worth visiting the amazing and unique Park Mini Siam in Pattaya, during which time you will feel like a tourist who has made a trip around the world in just 3 hours. It is worth it because you can see there large-scale copies of all the iconic sights of the world and Thailand. For example, in the “European” part of the park – the figure of Christ, which is set above the city of Rio de Janeiro, the Tower of Pisa, and in the “Siamese” – the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, or the ancient capital of Thailand Ayutthaya.

All the landmarks in “Mini Siam” Park in Pattaya were created at a scale of 1:25, and these are not just single buildings, plucked from the natural environment, but whole complexes that exactly replicate their surroundings. Children and passers-by stroll along the streets of the “cities”, the guardsmen in national costumes stand at their posts. All the cars on the streets of the cities can be distinguished by brand. Under the layout of the bridge over the Thames flows a toy river, and “real” steamboats go on it. Trees, fountains, everything, literally everything, is recreated exactly as it is in real life. It’s unlikely that the only thing missing from these models are the ubiquitous sparrows.
The sight of the familiar silhouettes at Pattaya’s Mini Siam Park put together is mesmerizing. And it’s also interesting because it allows you to compare the size of the Tower of Pisa and the Eiffel Tower, for example, visually.
The two parts of the park, Siamese and European, are equivalent, but it’s noticeable that tourists from Europe are more interested in wandering through their own “toy” cities, while Thais are more interested in visiting their own sanctuaries.
Russia is still not well known for Thailand. This is noticeable because there are only two Russian architectural monuments in Mini Siam Park: the Church of the Intercession of the Virgin Mary (St. Basil) from Red Square and the figure of the Unknown Soldier from the Pantheon of Glory in Volgograd. It seems that many Russian landmarks, such as the arrow of Vasilevsky Island with the Palace Bridge, could have made this park even more attractive.
If you happen to get to Mini Siam in Pattaya during the daytime, don’t forget to grab a free sun umbrella. You can have a good time in the park even without getting caught up in the layout. There is a traditional Thai attraction – a natural corner with a grotto, waterfall and pond, which has tame Goldfish. You can feed them. If you want you can eat yourself – there are a lot of comfortable cafes in the park.
The best time to visit the park, though, is closer to sunset. Then you can, without straining from the heat, admire the illuminated layouts, whose minor damages are hidden by the soft twilight. After your stroll in Mini Siam Park, if you have time and energy left, you can continue your tour at crocodile farm in Pattaya or go sunbathing (advice on the right tan in Thailand) at the the best beaches in Pattaya.
