How to get used to the Thai climate faster? Tips

In spite of all the charms of Thailand the local climate is ㅡ far from humid. Because of the high humidity temperatures of +30° can feel like +35° ㅡ +40°. Added to this is the flight-induced (how long is the flight to Thailand? ) internal clock failure, stress and fatigue from worrying about the essentials – transportation, luggage, accommodation, food. Voila, the power and interest in the surroundings leave us, the piece does not fit in the throat, and if we are especially “lucky” – then hello, friends – herpes, fungus and conjunctivitis.

.

Many people joke: “To make the change of climate feel less drastic for you, go to Thailand by bicycle.”

.

All of the above are not very pleasant, but quite natural manifestations of acclimatization in Thailand. Some of them disappear after a good night’s sleep, and for someone it takes a week or two to “adjust to the local wave”. More subtle and imperceptible outwardly processes of body acclimatization may last for years.

  1. Taking vitamin and mineral complex, started 2 weeks before departure, can significantly smooth out all the consequences of acclimatization. Especially in combination with extracts of plants-adaptogens: ginseng, rhodiola, eleuterococus. As can be seen from the name of the class – these plants are rich in biologically active substances that accelerate adaptation. In this respect, alcoholic beverages have exactly the opposite properties.

  3. Simply upon arrival at the hotel (article on “How they cheat in hotels in Thailand”) refrain from turning on the air conditioner at full power. The milder the temperature changes, the more stable your condition will be. For the same reason, you should not pounce on drinks with ice.
  4. You should also take care of chronic diseases, bad teeth (if anything, you can turn to Thai dentists), etc. in your home country. Acclimatization in Thailand is accompanied by a decrease in the immune system, so the risk of exacerbation of all these troubles upon arrival in a new environment is very high.
  5. A few days before the flight to Thailand, as well as immediately after arrival it is not recommended to drink alcohol, as it only increases the symptoms of acclimatization.
  6. In the morning after your arrival in Thailand, it is recommended to visit a local pharmacy (read more about Pattaya pharmacies) and take a vitamin drink for a quicker acclimatization.
